Wilderness Pursuit Horseback Adventures

Wilderness Pursuit provides the chance for people to enjoy wonderful horses and to
ride them in beautiful surroundings. We wish to attract groups who would like to help
with camp and horse chores.

We offer custom made primitive outing trips up to 6 days and 5 nights long.
Complete outfitting including tents, sleeping bags, mats, meals and snacks
are provided. Riders need only bring personal gear, extra snacks and beverages.
We ride in the 133,000 acres of the Clark County Forest. Wildlife is plentiful
and nature is at its best.



Stay in Sleeping Cabins
 Cabins have bunk beds and small lofts; you will need to bring a bedroll.

Our youth camps offer a 5-day stay in camp atmosphere. We offer the kids the
opportunity to work with horses and learn to care for them. We are a horse related
camp only! Everything except personal gear and bedroll are included.


Wilderness Pursuit designs its trips to serve people with a variety of skills. Beginners or experienced riders will enjoy the opportunity to ride on seasoned horses through the scenic Clark County forest.
Trails pass through bluffs, wooded ridges, and wetlands. Remote base camps offer frequent wildlife sightings.
Complete outfitting including horses, tack, guides, meals and camping equipment are included in all packages. All you need to bring is yourself!
Learning new skills or developing old ones will come naturally.

Women’s Retreats
Call for special date set-up  (-need 4 riders)
Women treat yourself to a weekend filled with: horseback riding, great food, rest, relaxation, awesome campfires and great friends. Do some star gazing, listen to some music and return home refreshed! $300.00+ tax

Horse Drawn Wagon Rides
Not completely comfortable on horseback, try the wagon ride! Gentle mares will pull you thru beautiful trails in the Forest and stop for a Picnic lunch. Or enjoy the wagon ride, and then return to special area for a mouth-watering Steak Dinner!

2 Hour trail ride Through the scenic Clark County Forest: $35.00 + tax

Picnic Ride
Ride for three hours into the forest and take an hour for lunch. Lunch is included in the price: $79 + tax

Day Rides with Steak Dinner
Relax and ride all day through the forest, enjoy peaceful breaks with snacks-return to the camp area for a mouthwatering steak dinner!  $99.00 + tax

Wilderness Weekend Overnight (for the truly adventurous)
Leave mid-morning; spend the night camping.
All meals, tents, camping gear and horse included.
Return in afternoon the next day: $300.00 + tax

Wilderness Weekend Overnight/Cabins
Same events as the above ride, but you will return to our corrals and stay nearby. Spend the Night in our cozy log-sided cabins: $220.00 + tax

Extended trips
Up to 6 days, 5 nights. Everything included.
Primitive camping: $150.00 + tax (Min. of 4 riders)
